This past week, I challenged my students to a reading challenge. Very simply, I told them to read as many books as possible within a certain timeframe, and record the title & author of each. They were up to the challenge, and I agreed to take it on with them. Reading is one thing I absolutely love, but when life is busy, reading seems to be the first thing that loses space in my schedule. This year I want to make reading more of a priority and as we prepare for the baby, I’m finding never-ending possibilities for titles to read.
I enjoy spending time after work listening to an audiobook, since it doesn’t require my full attention but I can still enjoy a good read. I’m looking forward to using up some of those Audible credits and spend some quiet time listening to a book!
I’ve linked all the books in my reading list to Amazon in case you want to check them out. As far as rules go, I’m keeping it simple this year; taking my time with each book, and not rushing to complete any particular number of books. Some on the list will be new and some I’ve read before, but they’re worth reading again. Here goes!
