Five Months

Sweet Samuel, it’s been five months since you made your entrance into the world! I can’t imagine a happier few months. We spend each day together laughing and smiling, and you have brought so much joy to the world. Any time we take you somewhere, you giggle and smile at everyone; you just love being around people all the time. You’ve learned to roll over, and you are so proud of yourself when you do. You love to FaceTime with your Nanny (even though you see her in person most every day), and always get lots of cuddles and kisses from her and your Grampy (they love you so much!). You are always happy, and everyone says you’re so bright and attentive—you’re always looking around, observing everything and everyone around you. You sleep so well each night, but don’t like wearing clothes to bed (you get too hot). You are the easiest, most contented baby and I feel so lucky to have you. Sweet baby boy, you bring such joy to our lives. I hope you always know just how much we love you.
