These homemade gummies are gut-nourishing and nutrient dense. Best of all, they’re super easy to make and a great balance of an easily digestible carb + protein. Little ones love them (jiggly snacks are the best!) and they’re just a fun, easy snack for all.

Now, let’s talk about gelatin. The benefits of gelatin include:
- Improves gut function + digestion
- Helps reduce inflammation
- Builds + restores muscle
- Supports joint/cartilage health
- Promotes firmer skin
- Healthier nails + hair
- Supports a healthy metabolism
- Helps to curb cravings
- Promotes deeper sleep
Homemade Gummies
Recipe makes enough for an 8×8 pan, or fills multiple molds!
Ingredients
- 1 cup pure fruit juice
- 1-3 tbsp grass-fed beef gelatin*
- splash of maple syrup or honey
Instructions
- In a small saucepan (not on heat), pour the fruit juice.
- Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the juice, 1 tablespoon at a time. When the gelatin has absorbed into the juice, begin adding the next tablespoon. Continue this process until all your gelatin is dissolved.
- Place saucepan on burner and heat until hot, but not boiling. The mixture will become liquid. Pour into molds (ours are discontinued, but Amazon has some cute ones here!) or a pan + refrigerate until set.
Notes
The more gelatin you add to the recipe, the firmer your gummies will be. I personally prefer 3 tbsp per cup of liquid, but have made gummies with less gelatin and they were great, too. It’s all personal preference. Give it a try and see what you prefer.
