One Month

Sweet boy, I can’t believe it’s already been a month of having you earth-side. It has been the fastest month of my life! Your eyes are wide open lately and you have been turning your head toward people when they speak. You love it when your Nanny and Grampy rock you and tell you stories (they’re so in love with you!). You love to eat, and you’ve also decided that maybe baths aren’t so bad, after all. When you do cry, it breaks Mama’s heart because you turn your bottom lip down and look so pitiful. You have been out for a few walks in the past couple of weeks and fall fast asleep each time. Oh, and you love driving in the car! You are the best traveller ever and I can’t wait to have many adventures with you and your Daddy. I still can’t believe you’re ours, and I thank the Lord every single day for you. I love you always, my sweet baby boy.
