Sweet little love, you’re seven months old and what a month it’s been! You’ve had so many firsts: saying “mama”, pulling yourself up to sit, trying cereal for the first time, and getting your first tooth. No wonder you sleep so well at night—you work hard during the day learning new things! You are such a happy, contented baby and I can take you anywhere without you fussing. You make our days brighter with your gummy smile and I’m so thankful for the joy you bring to our family. This month, your great Grampy Alan went to Heaven. Your middle name is Alan for a reason—because your great Grampy was a man of God and someone very special to all of us. I pray that as you hear stories of him in years to come, you’ll learn from his life and walk with God all the days of your life. I’m so thankful he had the chance to meet you—you brought a smile to his face every time he saw you. Continue to make the world a happier place with your sweet spirit.
