Ten Months

Sweet Samuel, Mama loves you so. You’re ten months old today, and growing before our eyes. You haven’t been feeling well these past couple of weeks because you’re getting four top teeth at once. It’s so hard to see you not feeling the best, but I know this won’t last forever. You love to “talk”, especially to your daddy. You can say “dadda” and “mama”, and I love hearing your sweet voice. You are moving into your new home this week, and we are so excited! Your Nanny and Grampy are so happy to have you living next door. You are obsessed with Elmo, and Uncle Ben & Aunt Verny bought you a stuffed Elmo that you love to cuddle when you’re not feeling well. You are so smart, and you discover something new each day. We celebrated your Grampy’s birthday yesterday, and you thought the candles on the cake were so funny! You giggled loudly when he blew them out, so we had to light them again several times. You are so happy. You are learning to be gentle with the dogs and cats, and you love to pet them. You are also learning to give kisses to Mama, and it melts my heart each time you do. You went to Sandhills for the first time this week, and loved the water! You were so brave going into the water for the first time, and found lots of seaweed and shells to chew on.. haha! I’m so proud of you, my sweet baby boy. I thank the Lord every day for your life. I am so blessed to call you my son. I love you, Samuel.
